Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to oversee the safe and compliant processing of material segregation within our depot. This role is key to ensuring plant availability and utilisation targets are consistently achieved through effective team leadership, maintenance coordination, and high standards of housekeeping.
You will work closely with Site Management to support operational performance, while leading a team within a shift-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of on-site processes
- Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Lead, manage, and support a team of operators
- Prioritise and coordinate daily workload within the facility
- Assist with and support maintenance activities
- Monitor performance and liaise with Site Management on operational improvements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven production or operational experience
- Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating teams
- A valid Forklift Truck Licence
- A Telehandler Licence
- IOSH Managing Safely certification.
