A vacancy may be posted directly by an employer or recruiter, supplied through an authorised job feed, or obtained from a publicly available employer careers page.

Unless separately agreed in writing, Mill Talent acts as an advertising and technology service. Mill Talent is not the employer and does not make recruitment or hiring decisions.

2. Eligibility

By creating an account, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • The information you provide is accurate.

Mill Talent may verify employer, recruiter and other business accounts before granting access to certain features or candidate information.

4. Job seekers and candidates

When creating a professional profile or applying for a vacancy, you agree that:

  • Your information is accurate and not deliberately misleading.
  • Your qualifications, experience and employment history are represented truthfully.
  • You have the right to submit the CV, documents and information provided.
  • Your application does not contain unlawful material or confidential information belonging to another person.
  • You will not impersonate another individual.

  • Salary and benefits.
  • Working conditions.
  • Location and relocation requirements.

Please report suspicious vacancies or communications to info@milltalent.com.

5. Job applications

When you apply for a vacancy through Mill Talent, you authorise us to provide your application, CV and supporting information to the employer or recruiter responsible for that vacancy.

The receiving organisation will normally be independently responsible for how it handles your information during its recruitment process.

Some application links may redirect you to an external employer, recruiter or application website. When this happens, the relevant third party's terms and privacy notice will apply.

Mill Talent:

  • Does not guarantee that an application will be reviewed.
  • Does not guarantee an interview, response or offer of employment.
  • Does not control the employer's recruitment process.
  • Is not responsible for an employer's hiring decision.
  • Does not guarantee that a vacancy will remain available.

6. Professional profiles

You may be able to create a professional profile for recruitment purposes.

You are responsible for the information included in your profile and for selecting any available visibility settings.

Where you choose to make your profile visible, approved employers and recruiters may be able to search for and view it for legitimate recruitment purposes.

Do not include information that you do not want prospective employers or recruiters to see.

You may update your profile, change available visibility settings or ask us to close your profile, subject to information we are legally entitled or required to retain.

Job information may change after publication. Users should check the employer's application page and conduct appropriate checks before relying on a listing.

9. User content

User Content includes CVs, professional profiles, job listings, employer information, application materials, images, logos and other content submitted through Mill Talent.

You retain ownership of your User Content.

You grant Mill Talent a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute and moderate your User Content to the extent reasonably necessary to:

  • Operate the website and services.

  • You own the User Content or have permission to provide it.
  • The content is accurate where presented as fact.
  • Its use by Mill Talent will not infringe another person's rights.

11. Fees and paid services

Some employer and recruiter services may be free, promotional or paid.

Where a service is paid, the price, included features, duration, taxes, renewal arrangements and cancellation conditions shown at checkout or in an order form will form part of the agreement.

Employer and recruiter services are supplied for business use unless Mill Talent expressly agrees otherwise.

Fees will not normally be refundable once the ordered advertising or service has started, except where:

  • The relevant order terms provide otherwise.
  • Mill Talent has failed to provide the purchased service.
  • A refund is required by applicable law.

Mill Talent may change prices and plans for future purchases. A change will not retrospectively alter an agreed fixed-term order.

Failure to pay an amount when due may result in suspension or removal of paid features.

Mill Talent and its licensors own the rights in:

  • The website and its design.
  • Software and technical systems.
  • Mill Talent branding.
  • Databases and database structure.

  • Privacy practices.
  • Security.
  • Availability.
  • Recruitment processes.
  • Products and services.

Mill Talent is not responsible for the acts, omissions, content or availability of a third-party website.

We may:

  • Perform maintenance.

  • The account presents a security risk.
  • Unlawful or fraudulent activity has occurred.
  • Candidate information has been misused.
  • Job listings are false or misleading.
  • Fees remain unpaid.

Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach.

Sections concerning intellectual property, payments, confidentiality, liability, disputes and any other provisions intended to survive will continue after termination.

16. Privacy

Our Privacy Notice explains how Mill Talent collects, uses, shares and retains personal information.

Employers and recruiters receiving candidate information are responsible for complying with their own data-protection obligations.

  • That the website will operate without interruption or error.

Search rankings, tags, recommendations and profile matches are tools only. They do not constitute professional, legal, immigration, recruitment or career advice.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

  • Loss of goodwill.
  • Loss of opportunity.
  • Loss or corruption of data.
  • Indirect or consequential loss.

Subject to liabilities that cannot legally be limited, Mill Talent's total liability arising from a paid service will not exceed the amount paid by the affected customer to Mill Talent for that service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

For a free business service, Mill Talent's total liability will not exceed £100.

Individual and consumer users

If you use Mill Talent as an individual or consumer, we are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

  • Loss that was not foreseeable.
  • Business losses suffered by an individual using the service for personal purposes.
  • Loss caused by an employer, recruiter or other third party.
  • Loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by another user.

This indemnity does not apply to the extent that a claim was caused by Mill Talent's own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to:

  • The website or services.
  • Legal or regulatory requirements.
  • Security arrangements.
  • Suppliers or technical systems.
  • Our business operations.

The current version will be published with its effective date.

Where a material change affects existing users or paid services, we will provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate.

Continued use after the revised Terms take effect means the updated Terms will apply, except where applicable law requires express agreement.

21. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you use Mill Talent as a business, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service.

22. General provisions

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

A delay by Mill Talent in enforcing a right does not waive that right.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without written permission from Mill Talent.

Mill Talent may transfer its rights and obligations as part of a genuine business sale, restructuring or transfer, provided this does not reduce any mandatory rights.

Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship, agency, partnership or joint venture between Mill Talent and a user.
