To support this journey, we are looking for an experienced and commercially focused HR Business Partner to join our People team on a minimum 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
The Opportunity
As HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in partnering with leaders across the business to deliver people strategies that support organisational performance, employee engagement, and business growth.
This is a hands-on role requiring a strong generalist HR background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with managers and leaders to provide proactive HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle.
- Support organisational change initiatives, workforce planning, and business transformation projects.
- Coach and develop managers in employee relations, performance management, talent development, and leadership effectiveness.
- Lead and support complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Analyse people data and trends to identify opportunities and drive informed decision-making.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
- Collaborate with the wider People team to deliver HR projects and continuous improvement activities.
- Promote employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are applied consistently and effectively across the business.
About You
We are looking for a confident and credible HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships and influencing positive outcomes.
You will have:
- Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor within a complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience managing employee relations cases and supporting organisational change.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 minimum, Level 7 desirable).
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or operational environments would be advantageous.
