The Opportunity
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer satisfaction—both internally and externally—by accurately and efficiently filling, packing, and shipping customer orders. The role ensures shipment deadlines are met by selecting appropriate shipping methods, maintaining accurate documentation, and handling product carefully to ensure quality delivery. This position supports warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and timely fulfillment in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull retail, wholesale, and grower orders accurately.
- Ensure orders meet shipping requirements and customer satisfaction standards.
- Sort, pack, and ship fulfillment orders according to guidelines.
- Operate the Carousel system for order fulfillment.
- Process packing lists accurately for all custom job shipments.
- Ensure all documentation and time sheets are legible and accurate.
- Prioritize and manage “top priority” shipments to meet delivery deadlines.
- Customize cartons and skids to meet customer‑specific shipping needs.
- Pack items securely on skids for shipment.
- Ensure accurate product tracking through the wanding/scanning system.
- Move and locate product correctly within the materials management system.
- Operate handheld scanners and label machines.
- Restock upper‑deck products, run stock replenishment, complete out‑of‑stock lists, and label bins and stockroom areas.
- Pull restock product from the warehouse as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and work efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support fulfillment and shipping operations.
What You Need To Succeed
- Related experience and/or training in warehouse, fulfillment, or shipping operations.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Strong math skills.
- Experience working with spreadsheets, scanners, and barcodes.
- Ability to learn and become proficient in Carousel computer programs, including PickPro.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate a label machine.
- Reliable attendance and dependability.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, as business needs require.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
