Position Summary
As a Waste Water Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving the wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards. This role requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to environmental stewardship and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems and equipment.
- Collect and analyze water samples to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of treatment systems.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of treatment processes and results.
- Collaborate with environmental and operations teams to improve water management practices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in wastewater treatment or a related field.
- Certification or coursework in water chemistry or water management is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
