About You

Main Purpose of Role
Provide apprentice-level support to the GBS Digital Solutions – BlackLine Global Administration team, with a primary focus on Pune BlackLine processes, supporting security access management, SOX activities, documentation, and process improvements, while collaborating closely with global and APAC stakeholders.
Role Accountabilities
Support Security Access Management for Pune BlackLine users, including security provisioning across multiple BlackLine modules
Work closely with Pune-based RTR Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate access provisioning
Provide SOX testing support and data gathering for Pune processes, including potential remediation support
Collaborate with Global BlackLine Administration to follow standard security processes, tools, and governance
Shadow and provide backup support for SOP documentation creation and validation for Global System Administration activities
Ensure Pune BlackLine SOPs are current, validated, and adhered to
Provide secondary / backup support for APAC Global Administrator activities as required
Participate in problem-solving and process improvement initiatives related to Global System Administration and production support
Support implementation of process improvements in collaboration with GBS Digital Solutions and DTS organizations.
To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need the Following
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (technical degrees will also be considered)
Working knowledge of Accounting / Finance processes, such as journal preparation and account reconciliations
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with global and regional stakeholders
Willingness to work in a shift that overlaps with core Pune hours and APAC / Malaysia
Preferred Qualifications
Prior exposure to security access reviews, workflow creation/management, or SOX-related processes
Familiarity with BlackLine or financial close systems
BlackLine certification (preferred but not required)
