Role Overview
The Key Account Manager is responsible for leading business growth within assigned accounts, driving both sales and profitability. This role requires strategic negotiation, flawless execution at store level, and ownership of promotional strategy to maximize customer and company success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead account strategy, aligning business plans with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate and secure customer support to ensure seamless execution of promotions and initiatives.
- Own trade budget management, range and space optimization, and promotional calendar alignment.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasting and ensure promotional requirements are met.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis, customer presentations, and business reviews to identify opportunities and risks.
- Provide timely reports on forecasts, marketing effectiveness, and competitive activity to senior management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure strategies meet current and future customer requirements.
- Act as the key driver of account performance, representing both customer and company interests.
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 4–6 years of successful FMCG sales or trade marketing experience managing key accounts.
- Proven ability to lead negotiations and deliver profitable growth.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Highly results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive under tight timelines.
