General Laborer – Jacksonville, FL
Shift: Rotating 6:45 to 7
As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for learning the processes of manufacturing and the different machines used in the process.
The Opportunity
- Safely and effectively the unwind and rewind end of the press.
- To effectively assist the first assistant
- Assist in meeting or exceeding the goals in Safety, Quality, Cost, Production, Environmental and Housekeeping
- Frequently inspect each printing deck, ensuring that the unit is working properly. If there are any changes, inform the lead operator or senior assistant.
- Ability to effectively assist mounters with prep of sleeves and cylinders.
What You Need To Succeed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain housekeeping excellence - maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Must be able to lift, push, walk, stand, and bend throughout a shift
