We are looking for a Plant Manager, responsible for the successful day to day operations within the plant. Be actively involved in the process of implementation, documentation, maintenance and improvement of the integrated Management System based on the different standards under which it is audited.Comply with work instructions approved by Management. Take ownership of your work processes by implementing any improvements that can have a positive impact on daily activities and tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company standards while promoting a culture of operational excellence.
- Lead and oversee all daily plant operations, ensuring high standards in safety, quality, service, and productivity.
- Drive a proactive operational culture focused on accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and customer excellence.
- Ensure achievement of production, quality, cost, and delivery objectives through strong follow-up and execution.
- Lead, coach, and develop plant teams to build a high-performing and engaged organization.
- Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
- Ensure rapid resolution of operational and quality issues while driving preventive and corrective actions.
- Monitor plant KPIs closely and take proactive actions to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee maintenance and reliability activities to ensure operational continuity and equipment performance.
- Support the successful implementation and industrialization of new products and processes.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is proactive, action-oriented, and capable of making decisions quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Possesses strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Has proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally in packaging, plastics, food, or other fast-paced industrial operations.
- Demonstrates a strong operational mindset and drives accountability, follow-up, and execution on the plant floor.
- Has experience leading Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Certifications in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma are considered a strong advantage.
- Brings a hands-on leadership style and can motivate teams while building a strong performance culture.
- Takes ownership and is committed to delivering results and driving operational improvements.
- Can manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining high operational standards.
- Communicates effectively and collaborates well across all levels of the organization.
- Is committed to safety, quality, sustainability, and the continuous development of people and processes.
- Is fluent in both Spanish and English.
