Position Summary
Report and analyze financials in partnership with plant leadership, to include budgets, monthly closing, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the monthly management accounts and assist with the reporting of the financial accounts at year end.
- Supply management information and variance analysis to the business in order to aid strategic decision making.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
- Assist with both internal and external audits.
- Participate in the day to day activities of the site, as well as cross-functional projects.
- Drive the integrity of the account postings within the system (SAP).
- Support the team on all aspects of management information and variance analysis.
- Work in collaboration with central finance and shared services to ensure transaction processing proceeds smoothly and with minimal error levels.
- Travel occasionally as needed.
- Other duties as reasonably required from time to time.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Controller in a manufacturing - preferably corrugated paperboard - environment.
- College degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
- Experience with SAP.
- Ability to learn and navigate information systems and platforms.
- Strong focus on delivering timely, accurate reports.
- Team orientation and good communication skills.
